The 2.0 film will be going to releasing on January 28, 2018. It was the highest budget Indian movie ever till now with 4.5 billion Indian currency. Today the 2.0 team released the 3D making video of the film. In 3D making video, the film cast and crew shared their experiences.
Shankar, director, “The film was shot in 3D, we didn’t do that for 3D. The script demanded 3D technology for the movie. Many Hollywood films shot in 2D and after they converted into 3D in post-production. But this film was shot in latest 3D camera. I look the monitor, the shot, I have to be there, I am there, feel the scene to take. More than a movie it was an experience, can be fully tapped by 3D technology experience.
Rajinikanth, actor, “Small screen, I saw the first 3D shot. How many times I have seen it again and again repeatedly, I didn’t know. I appreciate Shankar because it was mesmerized me. I would wait to see the reaction of the audience. I am sure you, it will be not less than any big Hollywood 3D movie.”
Akshay Kumar, actor, “I think it was very difficult to work in 3D. Annie is a perfect setup for every shot to be in the making. I go back after each shot, along with the director of the Czech shot with hi-tech 3D glasses was sitting.”
Nirav Shah, cinematographer, “3D takes you to the right in the middle of the action. We will not be seen so much in India, it is almost magical. Everything will be much better. Shankar wrote the script, keeping 3D in the mind, it was the most important. For the 2D shoot, you shoot the image is flat, but when you shoot for 3D space to shoot. There is great depth in 3D, we create the original”.
